Camps & Tournaments

Camps:

Region 451 puts on an annual camp every August. The 2025 camp is August 20th & 21st at JJ Jensen Park in Harlan Iowa. Registration for camp will be in the Harlan Registration. For non-AYSO players still wanting to participate, registration will be from 4:00pm to 4:45pm at the Red Soccer shed at JJ Jensen Park. All non-AYSO players will have to sign a waiver for insurance. Camp fee is $20, all checks can be made out to AYSO 451. All players participating will receive a water bottler, a ball, and a bag.

Tournaments:

The Southwest Iowa Soccer League holds an annual Spring tournament after spring season. The 2025 tournament was held in Harlan Iowa. ONLY registered SWISL teams
are allowed to participate. The hosting location rotates every year. The 2026 Spring SWISL Tournament is TBD. If your club or team is interested in SWISL please visit the
website at www.southwestiowasoccerleague.com for league information and league application or fill out the application below under links.

Harlan is looking into running its own AYSO tournament come Summer 2026! AYSO teams would have first priority, then SWISL teams, followed by outside teams.
This will be a 2 day tournament. The tournament will be hosted in Harlan Iowa at JJ Jensen Park and Merrill field.
SWISL game format, Laws, and policies will be implicated. All of these documents can be viewed below under links. The tournament will be primarily coed with
girls divisions optional as long as we have the teams.
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams and trophies for the first and second team. Day 1 will include a round robin style of play to determine top teams
in each pod. Day 2 will consist of single elimination. Awards ceremony will be held at the end for the top teams. The age divisions will be U10, U12, and 14U.

Harlan Fall 2025

Registration is set to close August 19th!

There will be a $10 late fee for any player registering after August 19th.

Please be sure to sign up for the AYSO soccer camp August 20th & 21st if interested! Camp will be from 5pm to 6:30pm for U6 & U8 and 6:30-8pm for divisions U10-U15! Non-AYSO players can still come to camp. Registration for non-AYSO players will be from 4pm-4:45pm at the Red Soccer Shed at JJ Jensen Park. Camp fee for non-AYSO players will be $20 all checks can be made out to AYSO 451. All camp participants will receive a ball, a bag, and a water bottle!

There are a couple of changes with JERSEYS that happened this Spring. U10- U15 will be playing with the new black jerseys, so if your player is in these divisions please fill out the jersey size chart accordingly. These black jerseys ARE the same as the SUMMER and SPRING PROGRAM jerseys, so if you ordered one this summer or spring you do not need to order one for fall! Schoolyard though U8 will play in the RED jerseys for this season. Another new change is that ALL jerseys that are ordered this year will come with shorts and socks.

U15 will play 7v7 if we do not have enough players/ teams to play 11v11. These games will be played on the U10/U12 combo fields.

If you are interested in coaching, please be sure to sign up as a volunteer! We are always looking for coaches and appreciate those who do volunteer. We also invite all coaches to attend the 2 day soccer camp. This is a good way to meet the players!

12U/15U parents if you have a daughter that is interested in possibly playing on an ALL Girls team, please answer appropriately within the registration.

The first game of the Fall season is set for Sept 6th. All practices for 6U and above will be in Harlan at JJ Jensen Park. Please note that game locations will rotate between host locations within SWISL.

Schoolyard players will not start until Sept 9th and will take place on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:45-6:45 in Harlan ONLY. There will be a separate email sent out to schoolyard parents!
